Have you ever said to yourself: What do I really want out of life? What do I really want to achieve for myself?
Kirstin and I began working together last year, we talked on many of our long training runs (I’m training to improve my half marathon time in 2012). It is apparent that there is huge value to be added to the physical training she delivers with the training of thoughts (cognitions) and actions (behaviour) in order to improve how clients (you) feel.
Most successful sports people use some type of mind training such as visualisations or affirmations. Cutting edge sports psychology can be used to make improvements in anything from anxiety and motivation through to increased muscle strength and injury recovery.
And when applied to people who struggle with weight loss, psychological techniques and hypnosis can be powerful tools that can transform your approach to food, exercise and health. Some of the common barriers that I target is overcoming cravings, emotional eating, maintaining weight loss and improving confidence.
Sounds good what shall I do next?
Call Brightonfit and talk to us, or just book an assessment if you are sure.
We meet weekly at my Hove office or your home (assuming its quiet and you can sit comfortably) for between 4-6 weeks and talk through what you feel isn’t working and why and where you would like to be.
What does it cost?
You can buy individual sessions for £60 or you can buy a block of 6 sessions for £300.
Most people find combining one of these packages with an exercise package will ensure you have the tools you need to succeed (click here to see our packages).
